Great all issues sorted with Shane promptly would use this Company again!

Working with SpringLight was fantastic. An exceptional company with spotless and well maintained vehicles. Customer service is exceptional. We were referred to Springlight by a friend who also had a great experience. Shane is immediately responsive and has a lot of knowledge about campervan/rv rental in NZ. They are a small company with personalized care. I have heard it can be very impersonal with the bigger companies. Shane met us at the airport and spent a lot of time with us getting to know the van. He was VERY thorough so we felt comfortable driving away. Also we did not have to wait hours in line to get our van. Another HUGE plus is that the rental company logo is not plastered all over the van. There is a small logo on the back. So you aren't marked as a tourist as you travel around the country. Shane also enjoyed getting pictures of us on our travels. I highly recommend Springlight to anyone travelling to the South Island of New Zealand.

Very modern van with everything you need for a comfortable trip. Shane gave a detailed run down on the essentials. Would advise taking the Happy Camper insurance- just in case .

We had a great time on our New Zealand adventure! The van was perfect and Shane was great to use. Fast clear communication and very knowledgeable. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Our van holiday got off to a good start with Shane picking us up from the airport and giving us a detailed handover of the motorhome. Unfortunately after the first night and at the start of our adventure, the fridge had a malfunction and we had to ring Shane and report the defect. This where Shane and his company came into their own, Shane immediately commenced to try and remedy the defect and when that seemed that was going to delay our journey, offered us an upgraded motorhome for the trip as well as giving us a one night refund for the inconvenience and hold up on our trip. Shane is obviously a great ambassador for his company and was outstanding in his communication throughout our journey, always available to give advice or solve any issues that arose. I would recommend Shanes companyspringlight, they are very professional and look after their customers.

Shane was very helpful before the hire, patiently answering questions from someone who had no experience with camper vans. On arrival the vehicle was in superb condition. The instructions and advice from him were clear. On return there were a couple of problems with the vehicle which needed dealing with but it was all done in a polite manner. Based on this experience, and on the positive side, I would say using a camper van means you naturally meet many different and interesting people. It was also very flexible(we carried bikes). Shane was extremely helpful and provided a reliable and superbly prepared and reliable vehicle for us. On the flip side, I would say that some of the fixtures and fittings, such as blinds, are necessarily lightweight (because of where they are positioned in the vehicle) and not robust. This would not be important except that they cost around the same as the minimum excess. I would be happier paying more initially for the hire with the cost of these limited life items built in rather than being the unlucky one who is present on an expiry date! That said I would certainly hire from Shane again.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of spending nearly a week in the Motorhome "Roxy," and I must say, it exceeded expectations. The Motorhome lived up to its description in the advertisement, offering everything one could possibly need for a comfortable week-long stay. The modern amenities provided a touch of luxury, and the overall appearance was impressive. Communication with the owners was seamless and efficient, making the entire experience hassle-free. Their attentiveness and professionalism were commendable. The handover process was incredibly thorough and detailed. Shane made sure we understood how every feature worked, leaving us feeling confident we could make the most of the RV throughout our journey. Two standout features of "Roxy" for me personally were: firstly, its ability to navigate the challenging New Zealand hills with ease, which was my main concern when considering a Motorhome vs. a regular car. The vehicle's performance was exceptional, providing a smooth and reliable journey throughout. Secondly, the GPS system was a lifesaver in areas with no cellphone reception; we never once had problems finding our way. Our experience with "Roxy" was nothing short of wonderful. I have no hesitation in recommending Roxy to anyone seeking a self-sustainable touring experience in New Zealand. Thank you, "Roxy," for delivering exactly what we hoped for. Sean & Cris

We had a fabulous holiday in this beautiful van. Shane was excellent to deal with, friendly and prompt communication. Very grateful for the tasty kiwi treats. Would highly recommend

An excellent high end luxury motorhome with most conveniences. This is a new van and some small 'tweaks' would be great to enhance it even further such as wine glasses and decent knives as the ones we had wouldn't cut at all. The plastic box that housed the hose and grey water waste was also quite small and was already cracked. A microwave oven would also have been useful. These are minor points though and did not detract from the great holiday we had in the motorhome which was facilitated generously by Shane when the camper we had been using had a serious breakdown. The island bed was very comfortable and due to the shower, toilet and kitchen we were able to freedom camp in total comfort as and when we wished. Shanes communication was also very good. Thoroughly recommended.
